Well we definatly had the fish out numbered today since the ocean wasnt open. Nothing like a good round of bumper boats graemlins/eek13.gif . I think out of 150 boats or so I prob. saw about 20 fish caught. Not very good odds....and the odds get even worse when it gets to my boat graemlins/berry.gif lol. Oh well, there is always next weekend :tongue: , I hope some of you other folks got into a good bite.

Fished the GH last week and the weeds were not as bad as the previous 2 weeks. They are still a pain in the butt however :mad:

the weeds didnt seem as bad today as they were in the recent past, however, that could have something to do with the millions of lines in the water haha. I am sure that if all the other boats were pulling the same amount of weeds out as we were :mad: , the weeds would eventually seem to decrease. :cheers:

After two days stuck fishing in the bay and Ghost hole over the weekend - I really miss the ocean! Saturday was better than Sunday, although we saw a few (very few) nice sized chinook taken Sunday. We got zip, my first SKUNK weekend this season. Weeds seemed to vanish for a couple hours through the high slack tide. Did anybody else notice it was so still on the water the exhaust fumes from the 150 trolling motors almost killed everyone... Can't beat the weather for the middle of October, huh? Now bring on the next wave of FISH!?!?
