CR Coho

Fished the CR for coho on advice from Mrdorkfish yesterday and had two good hard strikes but no fish graemlins/eek13.gif

Fished 2.5 rods. 2.5 becuase my one buddy was real hung over and did not make it to the dock until 3 hours after my dad and I were fishing. I don't think he will do that again before going fishing :shocked:

There were about 25 to 30 boats fishing the area we were out of Chinook Landing. Saw probably about 10 fish caught. I will be trying it again during the week when there will be a little less pressure!

Were you down on the lower end of Lady Island across from Chinook Landing? We're going to give it a try this afternoon, gotta pickup Father-in Law at noon @ Airport. Any tips from Mrdorkfish you would care to pass along via e-mail would be great!!

Gentlemen, Sorry if i got info to you too late, I work on Saturday and Sunday and get up really early.... Fish are there..i got three in my boat SUNDAY afternoon/evening....Try Ackerman Island....bottom to top....stay in close.....(Ackerman is the one in the middle of the Columbia between Lady...and Gov. Island) I hope you get lucky :grin:

I will keep at it this week. To me this is one of the great things about fishing... you can fish all your life and never, ever stop learning! :shocked:

Glad to hear you are still knocking them down. I know you mentionted a fast troll we pulled 1.5 to 2.5 mph... faster than that?
