Headed for the coast to haunt some of my ol fishin' spots in tidewater this am. The overall report is ...very slow.
I moved frequently due to an apparent lack of of fish. This is the action I viewed.
2Bit - 3 hrs- no bobbers down- 8 boats - Loy says 3 were caught yesterday.
Stump - 1 hr- no bobbers down - 20 boats- some fish rolling
Hospital HighBank - 3 hrs- 2 fish- 5 boats
Hospital Bankies - viewed 1 fish- 30 rods
JackSalmon to Pilings - 1 hr- 1 fish* Several Guides appeared to be trolling this stretch and up into the slough. May have been action here in the am.
Ditch Trolling Reports from passers by - about 3 fish taken, verified.
Overall: It appears the lower in tidewater the better. Number of fish showing increases from Hospital down. Mud doppers are very aggressive, which traditionally indicates that not a lot of fish are holding in the deeper hole.
Good Luck....It is the most beautiful time of year!
