PC Report - Oct 10

I fished from dark until 3 PM. I fished hard.

Only one fish on bobbers at the morning low.

Zero fish on boats, zero fish on Kwikfish.

One fish on an Alvin on the incoming tide. I think one fish in the pogey hole, but I couldn't see over the point, just a lot of noise.

:grin: Check this out, I tried Kwikfish with no luck. The incoming tide was slowing way down, so I put my boat onto the trailer. There were only two guys fishing the point, so I decided to put on a sand shrimp on my bobber rod. I threw it out, and about 20 seconds later, BOBBER DOWN!!! :grin: I landed a 30 pound buck. I hope to post the picture real soon. Sandy was out taking pictures with her digital camera, and she is going to email to me.
Another guy also caught one on the high slack on bobbers. I left before tide change, but its been real slow, and you really have to work hard for your fish.

That puts me into the penalty box in Tillamook County. 4 fish since Saturday. All four were bucks. I NEED TO CATCH SOME HENS!!! I've caught zero hens this fall. :whazzup: :hoboy:

Have you heard anything from up above at Woods?? Gonna be there Sat from a boat, just wondering if we should maybe plan on something else.............

A friend of mine was up on a boat in Woods Monday-Thursday with his fishing buddy. In four days of fishing, they only got one each. He said that it was very slow.

I don't know why fishing is so hard this year on the Nestucca. You really have to put in some serious hours to catch fish. My vacation is over, so I don't know if I will go again on the weekends.

[The Bad Fish]

well i thought it was just me.. i was getting ready to give up.. i have been here in lincoln city all week. went to pc monday.. nothing.. went to siletz tues.. nothing .. went to salmon river wed.. thurs.. really nothing .. really alot of "not so cool people" there .. seen some fish caught,, however dont think most of em were legal hooked.. so i give up.. vacation over.. looking forward to going back to work.. "at least im good at one thing".. nice to see you out there kyle.. was that skp in that shiny sled with the decals on the stern?? good luck gang.. kb
