I know Hogmaster in his newly purchased ride Hogheaven have been fishing that area with some success. You might try emailing him.

Actually, nickle, I haven't been out since last Sunday when a group of us piled in the sled and promptly stunk it up. First time out for quite awhile without even a takedown. Unless you count a fair sized Northern Pikeminnow.
24 on, I would say it may still be worth it, but I doubt it will be red hot. Pull wiggle warts, no weight. I have had success with Beaver Orange and Black tiger striped ones.
It isn't crowded. Hardly any boats are working it.

Not much goin' on down there right now. I've been down there two out of the last three days and have'nt seen even one fish hooked. If you go hopefully you will have better luck then I.

Tip of the Rod to ya 24,
Went out for a few hours Friday with no one else around but a few bank plunkers. No other boats. Felt like I was wasting time but the weather was great. Give me a wave on the water you cant miss my boat.
