Nehalem River Private Launch?

Bobber fished the South Fork last Sunday from the 101 launch up to the Liverpool hole. Great sunny day, no fish for me. Saw 4 kings caught all day, 2 bright and 2 dark. 3 on bobber & eggs and one on a spinner.

I noticed a rough boat launch right at the railroad trestle about 6 miles up stream (near the Liverpool hole). Can anyone shed some light on this launch? Is it private? Name? Cost? Phone number? Bottom-line: can I use it?

I'm fishing the area next week and would appreciate any info. Thanks in advance, Jeff

Hogwash, That lauch is on Darrell Johnson's property. He used to let us flat landers use his launch until people kept leaving trash around and leaving his gates open. Now it is for locals only. Last time I launched there his kid let me in for 5 bucks which at the time was better than running all the way up from Nehalem. :hoboy:
