Bumper Chrome,
You mean you don't use the universal vortex tool? The shiny nickel! They are specifically minted with the tight tolerances for the vortex lids! You are supposed to have the vortexes ready before you get to your destination!

******,
Don't tell me you don't like catching a bunch of smallies in early summer! I really love tangling with those bad boys then. 6lb Fireline with a 1/4oz jig with kalins bluegill pattern. Mmmm makes for good eating.

FEAR NO FISH!

I just got off the phone with Ray Scott, the owner of Vortex fishing lures. No, he isn't the one from Bassmaster's fame. I told him about the success that myself and others have, using his lures. The problem we are having is availability of batteries. I walk into a store that carries them and I buy every battery on the shelf. This is usually all they have in stock. He then told me that in December they are introducing a new technology in their lures. We won't need batteries anymore! He is also introducing a plug that will dive to depths of 20 feet. I emailed him a picture and he is sending me one of his lures to test. OH GLORY, CAN IT BE ? They are finally going to build a better lure!

No Problem ******: Ole pal
I can keep a secret. I would not tell any one where FNF is fishing. He gave me some info on perch jerkin last winter. Need to try it out.

We will have to get out for some of those Sturgeon, Later this winter.
FNF. If you in the area, you can go too.

Must say that I too have talked to Ray about a month ago and can confirm the plan to rollout plugs w/ the batteries permanently inside the lure! No more leaks!
