Since I am restricted to the bank and haven't had any luck in the Clack for three weeks now, I'm thinking of trying my luck in some other rivers. I've always been skeptical of fishing larger rivers from the bank, but figured I'd give the Columbia a try tomorrow since it's close to home and I don't have a lot of time. I'm thinking of hitting it just up from Gov't Island on the OR side. If anyone can point out any other general areas, it would be much appreciated. I'm probably going to try spinners for salmon/steelies and possibly drift fish corkies if it seems doable.
Maybe the Sandy would be better? I could use some Tad's chick dump :smile:
