Are you affiliated with TR-1 auto pilot
systems? That topic was from January. What

Hello, Yes I am, I have been with TR-1 for 4 years. There is nothing I dont know about them. I have installed and ran them on just about every boat out there. I get alot of water time with customers and my own. Sorry I did not respond, I recently found out about this site and joined.
If I can help at all let me know.

You can help by keeping us informed if a sale or clearance comes up :grin: If these things were more affordable you'd see em everywhere, and you'd definately see one on my boat.

I am actually from Portland. I have been here since I started working for TR-1.( 4 years) I am really not into football. I spend my spare time riding motorcycles at the Dunes. If I watch any football I usually pick the opposite team my brother likes, just to wind him up.

About 3 weeks ago I sent an email through the contact us link on your website about if your units would work on a 25hp honda. I have not heard anything yet, will it work on a 25 honda.

Ok, I have'nt had enough coffee yet, and it may just be a blonde moment. I dont get it.
Anyway I fished the river here in newport tuesday, all I saw was fish(big) 40 plus pounders. The problem was I could not get on to attach itself to my lure. All the others had the same problem.(That's Fishin) I found more fish way up high twords the mill. Really all I would of had to do is run down the river holding my net out, one would of jumped right in there. It was cold, thick fog. I fished in a 18' Arima. The best part of this trip was not touching the tiller. I watched over 64 boats with people hanging off the back trying to steer, and enjoy there trip. We spent more time tying lines, and enjoying fishing. Point the boat and all I had to do was kick back and wait for the pole to drop while the TR-1 did all the work. I guess what Im trying to say is my hats off to all the folks who choose to steer. Anyone doing any good north of newport?

Thanks for your help, sometimes my humor just doesn't work out :whazzup: . I've noticed that with my kids, if I have to "splain" it to them, it usually falls flat :rolleyes: . Last week I wrote a long dissertation about electrolysis(hair removal), on a post about a guy worrying about his aluminum boat rotting away :grin: :grin: :grin: . Nobody even noticed. I've been told not to quit my day job!! :sleep:

Peter,
I got one on my 9.9 kicker, however, it won't track the GPS. I emailed the company and was told that there was a glitch in the programing that prevented it to work with my Lowrance XMT 15. I was told that I would have to send the unit back to get an updated program.
Now the question, how much do I have to remove from the boat to get this fixed?

Good afternoon all,
First time on today, it's been crazy today. As far as the TR-1 and GPS question. It is not us that doesnt comunicate with lx-15 it's there GPS data that is incorrect as far as running an autopilot. We naw have come up with software that will translate there info, to the TR-1. All you need to send in is your compass ball. Sorry I did not respond quicker, Im working.

Peter, your companies product is the best toy I've put on my boat yet. I actually can relax and enjoy the day - especially when I bring the wife and kids! Expensive, but worth every penny. My only problem is getting enough time lately to use it with moving and ........
