I met my woman in college a couple of days after Hurricane Andrew obliterated South Florida. The storm hit the day after orientation and move-in, so they postponed the start of classes two weeks and said anyone that had already moved into the dorms could stay (and party) or go home and come back later on the school's dime. We both stayed. That was a fun two weeks :grin: In fact, this week is our 10 year anniversary.
Hurricanes are cool :cool:

My brother finally purchased his own home in New Orleans about a month ago. He's just finished the clean up from the last deluge.....and I haven't been able to get ahold of him to see what he's going to do now.
Ding-**** , I told him there's no place better than the good ole PNW!!!!
