Hi Y'all! I comming down to fish the "T-Bay" as you guys call it next week. The tides then look to have a pretty big exchange. Is this a favorable condition there? Where do you suggest I fish (from boat) during the strong ebb & flood tide-using what? graemlins/idea.gif
Um, I think I'm supposed to tell you a fish story so here it goes.
Last year figured out that you fish Bouy 10 on the flood tide. Came down by my lonesome in a 16ft Lund/25hp and limited fairly quick with a 25lb 'nook & 2 nice fat coho. Called my buddy in Seattle to high-tail it down there asap to fish with me. We began fishing the bouy about an hour before the flood & he kept on complaining that there wasn't any fish there & he had been fooled into comming down. graemlins/berry.gif I just kept saying, just wait... just wait... Sure enough, flood came right on time 9am. I no sooner said "hang on, here it comes" when his rod immediately buried. Since he was stationed at the bow of the little 16ft. Lund, I was responsible for steering & netting. No small task with the big flood tide & a thousand other boats out there that Saturday morning. Well, since he was using an artificial lure, he promptly threw his offering back in after I had netted his fish......and immediately caught another one! After I had boated his second fish... he did it again. He had limited out before I EVER had the chance to put my rod back in the water! You should have seen this guy  , he didn't mind the "told you so". The story ends even better. Both of us returned to the launch safe with 6 fish within 45 minutes. I wish all fishing trips were like that.
Anyhow, thanks for your T-Bay tips!
