There is just a flurry of arguements and nonsense out there today!
What's up?
Wake up on the wrong side?

I'm tired of editing stuff and settling arguements. Go fishing! Have fun!
Do something productive!

I'm going to cook dinner.

Behave!

Jen - Nope- I'm havin a great day. Miss B Haven's been real nice today (for a change). There's just to many real things going on in our little world that have real meaning and hurt to get in one of "those" right now. I know you feel the same. Sorry you had to step in.
Mellow out folks. Read some of the non-fishing posts that will make you feel real lucky to just be here and be healthy. Have some feelings and some understanding for others. Be polite unless you are obviousley being funny (sometimes even that doesn't work).

Too funny:

I shared them after dinner with the kids. I let them carefully pick one or two out.
It was so funny!
Andrew got out my crystal wine glasses, put one in the glass,
held it, (real sophisticated), swirled it around, sniffed it, commented on the "legs"
and very heartily "drank of it".

Jen<font size="2" face="verdana, arial, helv">Wow what a difference a year makes huh Jen? What a colossal waste of time it is arguing on these boards about trivial things. It's okay to disagree with some ones view point but to turn it into a personal attack is wrong! IMHO

Every day sucking in air is a great day! We have got it all right here. For years I have had the option of flying for free (until 9/11/01) and have not used it because I am already where I want to be.

I just realized that some of this years smolt will return the fall I retire. Oh, baby! Everyday is as good as you make it.

Nice to have you on the board, Shane. I would say "back" but that other guy was not you.

Jen. I always have a greatlittleday.

I still have to work for another year or so but even at work I have time to plan my next fishing trip. This is the most exciting time of year. I just graemlins/hearton.gif October in Tillamook. When I retire I will find someplace to rent for the month of October in Tillamook. Maybe next October...

If you notice, many of the arguments are involving newer members who haven't yet learned proper board etiquette. It takes time to learn how to interact in large groups (and this is a LARGE group). We have certainly been through this before and will probably go through it again. It is important to remind everyone that personal attacks are not the way to get along here.

Well I have been pouting all day because clam digging is closed. I guess the clam gods don't want me after those clams. No clams on top of no sturgeon. I don't know how much more I can take.

So, instead, I am making the kids work around the house this weekend. Anyone in a crabby mood can come out here and help me clean my garage.

I think I need some chocolate too.

LOL......that pic is hilarious. I'm certainly going to floss tonight, or at the very least chew on a milk bone.

Almost hit a home run fishing yesterday and saw one nice buck before legal shooting time. Caught 3 jack and two 8-9lb nickle silver hens. Lost two more jacks before I landed the last adult that I wanted to keep. Released 6 bucks that were a tad on the dark side. Two were boots.

Baking two of the jacks tonight for dinner!!!

excuse me

Jenny I'm new here and haven't read enough posts to see any arguing. But it must be an inherant part of any large diverse group of interacting people. The subjects I've read are very informative and peaceful so far. You have a great website that is obviously loved by many. Cudos!

I'd like to respond to crabbait's good comments. He said "I am already where I want to be", about Oregon and the northwest. And he said about life in general that "Everyday is as good as you make it." Right on about both things crabbait!

I can talk out of state people's ears off about the positives of our northwest region. Love it! And love the fishing!!! I can also talk about anyone ears off about salmon and steelhead fishing so maybe my inadvertant moniker I registers with, excuse me, may come in handy. graemlins/hearton.gif Charlie
