Went out to the damn this morning :tongue: . Got on the water about 730 and had 2 fish in the boat by 930 :grin: . Ended up being the only fish for the day :depressed: . Not very much pressure up there maybe only 10 boats at the very most :smile: . Got a pic here you go. The only problem is I am taking the picture and not holding one of the fish :depressed: . Now is the time to give it those last shots without all the pressure. Still fish around, obviously. Watch the weather this time of year. High West winds and a bad weather combination OR just the WEST wind, can make you wish you were somewhere else in a hurry.
Over 20 West substained, and gusting above that, I won't do it anymore. Some guys will. You old Sturgeon and Salmon guys that fish up there know I tell the truth.
Hopefully the "Booger" Old "My River" Man is gone from Hamilton Island too. :tongue:

Water was calm till around 1130 then a little breeze but nothing untollerable, but yes ****** I have been out there when the weather and wind has made for long days!!

There was only one person on Hamilton Island who we didnt see catch any fish but guys fishing below Tanner Creek were catching fish. Lots of fish going up that creek right now. All over the place if you ask me :shocked:

Yeah I think I remember you posting about that old man a while ago. Glad I havent ever been out there when he was. Skinny is an understatement on the way that river is right now up there :shocked:

rainrshine....Saw you catching at least one of those guys today. We were backtrolling up by you I think next to Hamilton, red/black 22' alumaweld sled. Didn't land one until we moved down and anchored up. Nice buck on a spinner. :grin:
******, Ya that water and wind do get a rippen up there. Pays to be on your toes. Had to hold my breath once today when a smaller boat below me was pulling his anchor from the stern. See stuff like that all the time up there. No wonder they loose so many.

I thought fishing by Tanner was closed until Oct 16th???? What's the deal? I thought I read you no fishy between deadlines until the 16th.

rainrshine...Ya, saw your buddys putting a spanking on them today too. Nice fish all around. :cheers: Guides were doing pretty well also. Saw some nice catches back at the ramp from down river further.
redbull...Don't know about that. We were below the deadline and from what I saw so was everyone else.

Nice fish guys :grin: Went up there Friday and we only had one takedown :whazzup: still learning the area but there sure were alot of fish on the surface!
Can't win a contest without your ifish hat! :wink:

Gamechaser.........NO that was not a catch from today I was just having a little fun with mrdorkfish :wink: I dont have a report from up there today 10-1-02. Good luck if you do go up there, the fish we did catch up there yesterday were caught with anchovy wrapped k15's and k16's :cheers:
