Relatives of mine got a cabin on Windy Bend, have the nooks gone up that far yet? When is the hottest time to fish it? Also, whats the best riggin to use and is it best to fish the incoming or the outgoing tide?

Sorry to burst a bubble but I fished Windy Bend today and didn't see squat caught. I put my first skunk of the season up today after about 10 trips. Not good bobber fishing on the Siletz.

I fished the siletz today it was bad. Only saw one fish caught it was a silver. This year is the worst ever for me on the siletz. Is it bad fishing every where on the coast this year or not or is it just me?

I was on the river at O' dark thirty this morning I saw 9-10 fish caught from chinook bend upriver. I heard of 1 fish caught below chinook bend they are up river. The fish all hit between 700am and 900am this morning but it was good for a while if you were up river in the right spot. Saw one silver caught this morning also upriver. saw lots of people using bobbers and eggs but the fish I saw cuahgt this morning were on kwikfish and cut plugs and one or maybe two on lures.
