Hello all, this is my first post so I hope the picture is not to messed up.
I am a new member to Ifish and thought I would share this nice Chromer caught on the Siltez on Sunday. The fishing was kind of slow, my wife and I saw one caught ever now and then.
I don't know alot of people who like to fish, so I am always looking to make new friends. I would be glad to post open seats when I get a chance to go fishing.
Hope to see ya out there.
Wow! With an intro picture like that, I think you may have just found 2500 new friends who DO like to fish!
Welcome!
So, give us a little story!

Very nice!!! You will need to tell some sort of fishing story. It's a tradition around here and we don't like breaking tradition.

Well, as on other messages the river was packed. I spent most of the day Bobber fishing with little action. I think I was in the wrong slot, but it was hard to find a spot without crowding in on people.
It was getting late so we decided to try a little cut plug fishin. The fish kept playing with the bait, a little bite here and a quick tug there. So I decided to hold my rod while driving the boat, not really expecting the rod to be double over so quickly. He about pulled it out of hand.
This Hog proceeded to almost spool my little reel as he headed toward the docks. I tried to tighten the drag, yeh right like that would work. I finally got him back in the middle of river, by then I could barely real anymore. We proceeded with the netting of the fish and tried to get him in the boat. As we where lifting him in I noticed half of the fish sticking out the bottom of my net, as you would guess I was getting worried by then. This net already has 8 zip ties hold the other holes together.
I think my wife finally believes that it is time to buy a new net.

Nice Fish and Nice story. Since the net worked great with the ties.... why mess with success?
Welcome to the board.
