Fished below the dam this morning. Not much happening as far as I could tell. We were fishing the area around the oak tree. We tried spinners, spin-n-glo/eggs, and kwikfish behind a jumbo jet diver. Nothing for us. Only saw one boat below us drop out with a fish and saw a couple up at the deadline drop out. Most of the action seemed to be coming from the boats at anchor, not the back trollers. We got discouraged and went and c&r'd some sturgeon down by Horsetail Falls.
When we took out, I talked to the fish checker. He had checked 4 boats with 9 fish. 8 of the fish were in one guide boat. Said he saw a couple of boats drop out up at Tanner Creek while he was checking there.
Fished the area on Sunday... Nothing for us but we did see a few caught. It is real slow unless you can use your smelt net jsut below Tanner creek, they are stacked up there.

Fished the deadline with a guide/friend on sunday and boated 4 bright nooks (one was 34#) and one jack.
Also got a 48" sturgeon (released) :hoboy:
All fish were taken on divers and wrapped kwiks.
Great day on the river!!
