I just wanted to voice my appreciation for the long thread of warm wishes for my surgery.
I was so touched by that. You just don't know!

You guys really are my family and I wanted to tell you how much I appreciate you all.

You know what? I haven't even gotten one call from my sisters or brothers. :hoboy: They are always so busy.... My Dad called though! :smile:

Anway, once again, thank you for the nice thoughts... They soothed my nerves and I'm getting better.
Tomorrow, off to the doc to survey the damage. :smile:

Bill took me for a drive today.... Ended up at PC to watch the show.
On the way back, I noticed the bobber rods in the back.
BILL! Let's stop!
We did, and fished for a while. PLEASE dont' tell the doc!
I told Bill, "Bill, if this bobber goes down, I can't set the hook, I can't play it!!!"
I can just see it now. If the bobber went down, would I have hit it? Huh? What do YOU THINK?

Luckily, God was watching over me, and it didn't do a darn thing. Just sat there....

Glad to hear you are back with the pole in your hand, even if you were against the docs orders. I hope the pain is going away. I can't imagine how much the bright lights must bug you right now... especially knowing how much you love the rain. Wear your shades. :cool:
