B10 is a cake walk compared to Nehalem Bay on a Saturday. Crab pots every 15 yrds in every direction, people yelling at eachother, bone heads anchoring up, 100 boats competing for a spot on the south jetty. Beautiful day but a bit stressfull. I think I'm gonna have to learn T-Bay......
p.s. saw about 25 fish caught. steady, but spotty bite thru the incoming, some of the nicest fish I've seen in a long time. Yes I know that T-bay is crowded too but it is nothing like what I saw this weekend.

Thank God for eastern Washington. I just have to keep an eye out for those ghost barges. Nobody breaking into my car either. :tongue:

I actually had a boat smash right into me one time while trolling at Cap Johnsons. :mad:
I started fishing Nehalem 12-13 years ago to get away from the Tillamook crowds. Unfortunately those days are gone..... :depressed:

Yeah..it's bad enough there on the weekends...makes you wanna be a Mon-Fri fisherman, but now you can't even escape the crowds at Tillamook during the week.

FYI T-bay can be just as bad as far as mass numbers of boats. I think that if people would just be respectful and attentive it would be much more enjoyable for everyone. There were a ton of fish caught behind the south jetty yesterday though.

Yeah...don't expect to get away from the crowds at Tillamook!!
Have actually bumped rod holders with boats trolling in the opposite direction, and that means they are within about 1" from my boat.
And when you're trolling in opposite directions..there's some speed involved!!
Yikes....Not for me!!
