Headed for the Siuslaw this weekend. Any updates on salmon. Best time of day, what part of the river, bait, how many ounces of lead, etc.? Thanks for the info.

My brother has been doing well on the siuslaw trolling herring. 6 fish in his last two trips. Sorry I dont have any more specifics.

I did a drive by on the Siuslaw this morning (wasn;'t able to fish). There were a few boats around Cushman but the bulk of the fleet (about 50 boats) were between the 6 and 8 mile posts, about half way between Cushman and C&D Dock. As I drove by I saw one boat with a bent rod and net waving in anticipation. :wink:
