I'm headed to The Deschutes the week of Sept. 23 and wanted to break up my own boating and banking with a guided trip during the middle of the week. But, I waited too long to book with Young's Fishing Service, which I have used before. Although it's short notice, I'd still like to find someone to run me and 1-2 friends up and down the river. Anyone kind enough to pass along the names and numbers of reputable guides?

You might try Dave McCann. Don't know his number but I have fished with hiim twice and he seems to know his stuff. Someone on this board may have his number. I believe he is still guiding the D.

Mark,
I'm extremely concerned - is the dog awake or something? It's not 2:45 so he's not trying to pee???
Sincerely,
Joby and the usually sleeping, sometimes peeing, often pointed on a squirrel dog-Buddy.
Try Brad Staples, he is a awesome guide. Last year we hooked 23 Steelhead fishing with Brad. We are going with him again this year.

Red,
I figured that would get some attention from someone  .Honestly, when I post ,I finish with the dog at the moment I am typing. Now it is quite clear that he is asleep most of the time(6 days 19 hour 27 minutes per week, give or take)but on occasion he wakes up,looks around and usually....goes back to sleep.I am also sure he can read as last nite at EXACTLY 2:45 AM he had to pee.
See you on the water, which is where we should be todat given the rain.
Mark and the sleeping again dog.
