Favorite boat camping spot

What's your favorite boat camping spot. My favorite is now closed!! It's an old boyscout spot on the north end of Cullaby Lake north of Gearhart. Just motor across the lake and two nice spots complete with fire pits and new picnic tables. I went there this weekend and was met with no trespassing signs and disappointment. Has anyone boated over to the spot on Timothy Lake?? Wasn't there a "boat to" campsite on Clear or Trillium. I seem to remember a whole article on it in McQ's collumn years ago. :mad: :grin: :grin:

There is a nice campground about 1 mile upriver from Lepage park on the John Day river.
It is only accessible by boat. This time of year it's not crowed and the fish will be in soon.
