It was so nice to put faces to names and to just enjoy everyones fellowship. What a great bunch of liars oops I mean people  I want to thank Jen and Bill for all their hard work and all other volunteers/sponsors I hope you know it was definately appreciated by all. I've got to tell all who wasn't there that missing Pilar and Puffin talk about ocean fishin' is not worth missin' next year! Man can those guys get ya fired up. After hearing stories from those two and from Greg about Tuna I'm almost ready to put my tummy to the test  I wish I could have had a chance to visit at length with you all, maybe we can start earlier next time. Waterdog, you are the pig cookin' man! I hope we can cook another one next year. I hope everyone will be able to attend next year and I look forward to meeting more of you at future gatherings. My boys and I went fishing this morning without much succes but we did release a dandy blueback, biggest I ever caught and I'm sorry but I can't say where cause my oldest made me promise not to tell  See you next time folks.(sidenote to crabbait) I'm still interested in those obedience classes for my boys but the wife says no shock collors :depressed: tight lines all, Kiwanda

I agree, Kiwanda. It was great meeting all those folks but I didn't get near enough time to really visit. We may need to schedule another get together and I don't intend to wait another year!

Training dogs takes patience and consistence for a year. Kids take a lifetime!

Hey Kiwanda, you and the Waterdog function like a well-oiled machine with that pig-cookin'. And Oh My, was that good. I could almost hear that spider-gal, Charlotte, singing out, "Some Pig!"

Anyway, it was fun, the food was fantastic, the place was pretty, and the stories were .... well, all I can tell ya is that I need more time off (lots!) and a couple of new boats. Geez, Puffin and Pilar got my wife so buzzed she's even buggin' me to get a bigger boat so she can go to Tuna Town and Halibut Haven. On the way home, she made me turn the car around and go back so she could stare through the fence at the new 21ft Arimas. (Okay, honey, if that'll make you happy I'll go ahead and get you one.)

Jen, Bill, Thumper - you put on a good party. Thanks.

Now all I've got to do is keep everyone straight. Let's see, Fishwrapper is with Crabbait, Otis isn't Greg's last name, it's his dog's name, and speaking of dogs, don't say "bird" around Buddy. Kiwanda and Waterdog are brothers under the skin, Drachir and Flasher are a pretty good team, Puffin *really* likes his boat, Bill and Barb are getting hitched next weekend, and ..... ohmygod, I'll never remember all of this....

I'm full and I need to sleep.
