All I can say is Low and Slow! Drifted from the meat hole to the golf coarse! Fish are rolling all day long in the deep holes! But they seem to have lock jaw! I heard of a 51lb fish taken at the meat hole early in the day and the snaggers are in force on every rock from the hatchery down to the meat hole! :rolleyes: I think the fishing will get better with some more water in the river with better flow! I had to row up stream just to get plugs and divers to work! Also had to pull boat off the sand bar at the take out its all most all filled in! Anyway nice day and had fun!...shakerfish! :grin:

I also fished the North Fork of the Lewis River today. I fished the hatchery hole on the south side of the river. I hooked 4 BIG chinooks and had them on for a good amout of time, and hooked a total of 6 fish on the bank. Seen a guy down there that has a boat that I know. He took us out in it and we fished eggs in the meat hole and only had a few good take downs but nothing that could hold. Started fishing down below and with 3 of us in the boat, one right after the other. We boated 3 REALLY NICE coho salmon in the johnson creek hole. If some one has a boat that I can go out with, I can show you were to go to get fish and what to use.
