Just wanted to say Thank you to Julie of Julie's Guide Service. While my hubby was out looking for an elk with his bow and arrows, I took the boys out fishing with Julie twice this week, Monday below Bonneville and Wednesday at the mouth of the Cowlitz. Caught my first BIG FISH (okay, maybe not for some of you ifish members, but 30 lbs was a thrill for me).

Being new at boating and fishing from a boat, she didn't just take me and my boys fishing, she taught me all sorts of stuff, especially how safety issues when boating, anchoring and how to properly go about it - which otherwise I may never have learned or learned the hard way (dangerous way to learn).

I have fished with other guides, but Julie's definitely topped them! Looking forward to more great experiences fishing with her. There aren't that many ladies that like to fish, I'm glad I found a guide that will help teach me.

Thanks Julie!!!!

Don't let these guys fool you. Thirty pounds is a good fish. Congratulations.

30 is a great fish. On top of everything else she does, Julie is a great person too.

glad to hear you did well today. the knowledge is worth as much as the fish. a thirty pounder is a great fish, no matter what you read here. what, no hand off? i dunno, impress the kids with mom catching the big fish or impress them with the hand-off? tough choice.
