Started at daylight, at 7:15 wifes rod goes off after a short battle she tighted the drag, fish to the boat, net almost in the water.... drag to tight fish OFF. Only fish we touched all day, bite did not happen untill about an hour before low tide. At low tide it was pretty good with many boats taking limits. Fish checker said you either had near a limit or nothing.

The bite never came to me! What are you fish catching guys using at frenchmen's to catch all your fish? Kalama they use clancys and alvins are are have a huge success ratio!

There are no fish in the river! No one is catching huge salmon from above Portland to way below Longview!

Wobblers don't work and neither do spinners. The only effective scent is to sleep with your wobblers tucked in your armpits!

All those people waving nets are just trying to herd the wayward whales back into the ocean!

(How am I doin Mission? Think they are buying it?)

Had a pretty good day. We went 3 for 4. Two nice nooks (#22 & 28). We also caught a tule that fought so long that when we put him in the net he died before we could turn him back. We were anchored directly below ******. We got the fish before he did. Sorry ****** http://www.ifish.net/uploads/404608250.jpg

I went from red hot to ice cold in 24 hours graemlins/berry.gif I was down by Sammi Crystal on the outside watching the guys in the inside hammering them. We pulled anchor and went upriver above WaterDog, SureSet, and ****** but couldn't get the two takedowns we had to stick. We did see SureSet, WaterDogs folks, and ****** pop loose so I know those guys went home happy. Congrats to the victors

With all the other posts going on about no brainers, I still say "hey you turkeys, leave some more room below each other between the lines!" This ain't shad fishing.

******-
I used to hand the rod off to the wife but she really doesn't want anything to do with that anymore. Plus it was one of the few times that I did better than her. I am still sore from the last spanking she gave me and my buddies on Cowlitz steelies. graemlins/berry.gif
She just hung a picture by the kitchen table of her and her 53 lber so I have to look at it everyday!

I hasn't been fishing that has let the weeds go. I have been buried with work. The last thing I want to do on a day off is deal with weeds. Especially when the fish are in.
