Clackamas River Report

I floated the clackamas today from Carver to Riverside. I caught 1 jack and had no other bites. I only saw a few coho roll. I didn't run across any schools of fish on the way down. Still early need some rain to push some fish in.

You are too early,........ not the big push of fish like last coiuple of years, ........ change rivers, we fished from about 7:20 till a little after noon and put 3 adults and one nice jack (chinook all) in the boat..........

Fishbait ,you forgot to mention the river you changed too! :grin: I am planning to go out sunday to see what is shaking on an inland river, so I'll post result where ever I go that night....

two days ago, i hit the middle section above carver and didn't see a single fish. decided to give it a shot at the mouth and didn't see a single fish. rain isn't going to bring 'em up if they're not here yet.

thx for the report. from the looks of the forcast the rain isn't comming for some time. at least the amount we need. 15 min downpour isn't going to do it. see ya on the columbia.
