Tacklebuster

Shared the river with a couple of buddies and saw a couple of Ifisher's out as well. We did really well with 6 takedowns and 4 to the boat. The first one was a big 32 pound URB.
After a couple of hours we picked up and moved to a little deeper water. We then picked up an 18 pounder, 28 pounder, and a big 42 pounder to end the day. All fish landed were nice and bright with the 42 pounder having plenty of sea lice on him. The other three chinook were hens full of eggs.
SureSet also put on a clinic out on the river as well with 4 fish in the box at the end of the day. I saw 5 cents drop out a couple of times so I'm sure he scored as well. Another Ifish Slaughter on the Columbia

I gotta thank TB for setting me straight out there today. After fishing next to each other in the AM and each getting an early fish, we pulled up and went opposite ways. His strategy (I won't mention what it was) paid off and mine didn't. He came by after landing his hog and convinced me to move (After watching him drop out twice it didn't take much mind you). End result, 3 fish in 2 hours.........
Thanks Chris!

Steve - you are making Buzz and all the other "famous" ones jealous no doubt this summer!! http://www.ifish.net/ubb/icons/icon14.gif
Save us a spot (right). Dad is in town from out of state, so hope we can nail him a few  . Lot's of fish at Bonneville everyone......the Ocean is supposed to be flat as a pancake too.

I almost was not able to hit the water today with the rest of the board due to lack of buddy support but the phone rang last night at 10 PM and I found somone to go with me!!!
Got the 27# buck 10 min after putting the line in the water at 6:50 AM. 17# hen came about 45 min later. Had one other short strike. Tacklebuster was hot, hot, hot after he moved to deeper water. He dropped off two times within 20 min! That feeesh was huge dude! Things really died off for my boat as the water dropped. We were going to move a little deeper but I had to run home so we sat it out. It seemed like that the boats that caught fish today had mulitple hookups but there were many with nothing!
Caught both on Alvins. Recently I switched to a much longer leader and it has seemed to work well. A couple of trips this week have produced 6 fish in my boat with only one missed strike. BTW thanks for the board advice on the Owner hooks... they are definately worth the price. I have not lost a fish yet that we have set the hook on!
Good job out there today all!
