I for one am glad Brad bought the Wiggle Wort, The Alvin, Hot & Tot and anything other products he wants to keep on the market. He maybe making money, however he is also making us fishermen happy  . I have not seen a price increase sence he has taken over these products, I'm just glad that they are still avalible.

Dunno about their wiggle warts, bt I have had bad luck with their divers, even after waterproofing their lips. my hot n Tots ran much better. just my opinion based on only a little experience but i am switching to mud bugs

rubber-warts-- feel like making my own. i still seek out the odd wiggle wart if i can find them. except on a diver, the old ones work better.

Brad's Warts have worked great for me on the Cowlitz and the Wind. I think Brad has done us a great service and I hope he makes some money for his efforts.

Brad who? And when did all this take place? And most importantly what did this guy do to two of my favorite plugs. You can have those wobblers, I would rather toss or plunk a spinner. Sorry for bein the dummy here but any info is appreciated. graemlins/stupid.gif
Brad Schoenborn...Larry's son, markets the HOT n TOT, Wiggle Warts, Alvins and other items under his name. When the original maker of the HOT n TOTs and Wiggle Warts sold out to another company the new company(Rapala?) changed some things about them. Brad sells the plugs made from the original design and apparently does a pretty good job of getting back to the original designs.

Hey guys I have heard some talk of these and being from Ca. I am having a hard time locating them does anyone know how I may go about viewing some color patterns and possibly getting my hands on some.
By chance do the model numbers coincide with the old Storm number if so it would make things a bit easier for I do no the model number I am looking for.
Thanks for any help.

I heard that Brad bought Storms Wiggle Warts mold. So if that is true they should be the same. I do like some of the new paint Brad has put on them.
I bought about $70.00 worth of the Storm wiggle warts when I heard they were changing the mold, so I have a good supply, expecpt for my favorite. Blue.

Storm was bought by the same company that owns Rapala. They changed the designs to inferior(don't work in fast water or bust apart..yeah I actually mean they break when fighting a feesh)bass based units.Brad bought the old molds. His original batch of wiggle warts(Brads Wigglers)were tough to get to run straight. The new batches have shown much improvment. They swim(and catch)like the originals.Same story with the Mag Warts. They work well now too.Mag Hot N Tots started rough, but I am confident will be brought up to snuff.
Brad has invested BIG money in this Storm basket. He will make a quality product in due time.Brads stuff is superior,in some applications,to all other products available.
The regular sized Hot N Tot is due to arrive soon. When they get here be patient. They are better designs than all other steelhead divers. If we send Brad to financial ruin by being too quick to judge,we will all be looking for a totally new substitute for something that is either there already or within inches if perfection.
I dunno much about the Alvin thing because I have no experience with the Before/After end of them.
For what it's worth,I have never met Brad(Larry once when I was young)and hold no interest in his company.I would suffer if he went under because most of what his product line is I USE.I could learn the alternatives if forced to.But I have over 20 years worth of experience with what he offers and I don't want to pay those dues again.
See you on the water.
Mark.
