CATCH AND EAT

Saw a post on the Salty Dogs thread stating the ocean will close September 2nd at midnight. Man, this bites. Just when fishing out there was getting really good too. Poooowee on this decision. I still have to go over there next weekend too. Guess I'll be fishing for them big dogs in the river.
Might have to contact Fishin Mission Guide Service. graemlins/idea.gif

Oh well I can always hang the fenders out. Could be worse, I could be stuck inside Tillamook Bay with the same croud. There's a LOT more water in the CR.
Time to go for some Pelagics anyway !!

Tuna it may be. graemlins/idea.gif But I would much rather get my freezer full of coho. My favorite eating fish. (except for reds but I can't catch them here).
Looks like I'll be heading to Tillamook in a few weeks in search of my first 40 or even better 50 lber.  In the mean time I'll be out there on big blue Sat. Sun. and Mon for the closure. Got to get more fish to tide me through the winter.

Bernie...there'll be plenty of coho here in a week or so. Don't fret.
