I have a nickel one, and a blue, nickel, and green one. What are the fish hitting lately? Where is frenchmans bar?? Is it just off of Kelly point park? Any info would be great. Need to get away from the wife this weekend

I was useing a silver and charteuse today
thats also the same color I had the best luck with last year, also the same color I caught all my springers on if that means anything ??.I've got a friend that swears by silver and brass ??
I think there's so many differant colors and everyone has a favorite you just need to pick a color and stay with it.(SILVER & CHARTEUSE)
just a suggestion.

Buy the silver ones and a few colors of prism Luhr tape. This way you can change your color to what ever the hot color of the day is. Also silver and copper is a productive combo.

1) ACTION ACTION ACTION ACTION ACTION ACTION

2) color

Just like plugs, 1 out of 10 will out fish the others hands down. Keep your color selection simple, when you find one Alvin thats consistently getting strikes stay with it. Color does matter, but dont get to caught up with it.

A plug holds it shape for ever (well almost). graemlins/stupid.gif
Those recycled toasters will bend and change action just looking at them crosseyed. A trip or 3 I can see but do you really have Alvins that have years worth of notches in the handle

From what I saw today it was solid nickle Alvin with blue tape or no "yankie yankie" on the on the lure. That said, I am still a firm believer in making it wobble right. If it 'aint wobling right, I don't think it matters what color you have out.

Fished below the mouth of the Cowlitz Tuesday - Thursday in 46' of water with a Silver with Chartruse tip alvin and caught 4 Chinook. I stayed with it the whole time.

Frenchman's Bar is down off Lower River Road. You launch your boat from Kado's Marina.
How do you fish Alvin's? Do you fish them on the bottom with a three way swivel?

Where do you usually place the tape? head section, tail section, or as an eye?

Saturday I caught a chinook with a silver and yellow alvin. Don't use The snap Swivls I think it takes part of the tures action away
