Anyone dumped any pots in T-Bay lately? I am debating about soaking my pots in the bay while we chase BFB and Charlie tuna on Saturday.

Kurt, You may as well leave those pots home. We will probably clean them all out Friday while we are BFB hunting  . I've heard it has been ok, for bay crabbing  . Good luck on Saturday. Might be last chance this year to get that 100 pounder. HJ

note to newcomers: you'll know you've spent too much time here when you know that BFB=halibut

Kurt,
We had to work way to hard for 9 semi-soft crabs last Friday! Once the tide turned there was a lot of seaweed on the traps. I'll wait a month or so before I focus on crabs again.

Soft shell (molting) crabs have little meat.
They should have a bit more meat and harder shells in a month or so!
