Well, with the new catch regs this weekend at the Buoy 10 fishery I was wondering if any hatchery coho were being caught this week with the bigger tides. I keep thinking any day now, the ocean reports will turn into river reports of plenty of coho.

The coho to chinook ratio is real low, I heard 12/1. They will be in soon - I hope.

uhh, would that be 12 chinook to 1 coho? If so, who cares about coho? Did they raise the limit on coho's?

A question I have does anyone have an idea what the average catch per rod ratio is. ( 1 fish per rod, 1.5 per rod, etc)?....at Buoy 10, that is....Thanks.

Who cares? Fresh 'ho is welcome on my grill any day!

That said, my bait will start at 20 pulls tomorrow morning and work down from there.
That said, later on it might be 8 pulls ...

... if I can just get out of this WORK scene and start doing something worthwhile - tick.... tick .... tick ....

Lots of people care who don't want to go home with just one fish! Need that coho to fill out a 2 fish limit starting Sat.!

Fished b10 yesterday. Hit the outside early with lots of fish, mostly Coho and two Chinook to the boat. Love those barbless hooks. Moved to B10 just in time and caught native coho and one 25 lb nook. Caught nine fish for 3 rods but, only one make it home.

Don't waste time blabbin' it's your rod you should be grabbin'.

Last Sunday and Monday we were outside and caught (and released) many fish. Around 20 for two rods in 2 days. Other misses too. Of the ones we got to the boat, we had about 60/40 Coho to Chinook, and about 1/2 of the silvers were nates. We didn't get any really big nooks though, and some of the silvers were pretty small (though not as small as last month when we were out there).

And BTW, if they were nates or nooks we did not net them and the barbless hoks made for easy releases. I saw no floaters from any of the fish we released.

If those fish are moving in, the ratio of Coho to Chinook will be changing soon.
