Proper ifish decal location on boat??

I am trying to find out where everyone places their ifish decals for maximum sight lines? I have never been a bumper sticker person, so this is a first for me, so I figure I better ask. :cheers: :cheers:

Most stickers I see are at the rear edge of the side window or near the stern on the side. I have two, one on the stern and one on the side of my kicker mount.

My suggestion:

One on the right side, front, one on the left side, front, one on the back side right, one on the back side, left.
Two in the middle, to even out the look, both right and left, one on the motor, right side, one on the motor, left side, one on the kicker mount, three arial stickers, for low flying crafts, five, striped down the bottom, for submarine viewing, and fish fear.
I know this is overkill, but I'd also put one on each seat, one in the middle of the steering wheel, and five across the bow, for decoration.
When you are done applying stickers, please also save a couple for your car. One side, back- right, one side.... :smile: :smile: :smile:

Then, attach one to each eye, walk in, give your wife a big hug, and say.... "Honey... I've been taken over by ifish aliens..."

Can you tell I just landed two chinook? I could tell you where, but then I'd have to kill you.

I have two on my boat, but I think maybe they shoud be a little bigger. I have trouble spotting other boats with the stickers on.
my idea is to have another size of sticker, Jumbo's for us who need a little help seeing or have bigger boats with more room for stickers.
What do you think, Jen?

I think a good size is about 4 time as big as they are now. I can't rember what size they are, but if it's 4" across then how about a foot across? about 4 times as big. That's large but will good in the right spot.

Well, I did it, Jen. On the sides, bow and stern, down the bottom, over the windshield, but....I think I need to take the one off the bilge-pump outlet. :tongue:

I put Mine on the cooler. I strap it on the boat, the back of the camper etc. that way I always have My Ifish sticker showing with or without the boat :sleep:

I, just today, proudly put mine on the rear of the boat -- and I'm headed out to see if I can nab a couple fish tomorrow! I'll be watching for other ifish-ers :-) If you see a gal in a 17' duck, she'll be appreciative of a wave -- first time in the Columbia with the boat, so all tips are welcomed :-)

I would like to see some die cut for back windows ect... I'm not much of a sticker fan but the die cuts look really cool on boat and vehicle windows. might even be able to talk the wife into one on her 01 Tahoe graemlins/idea.gif

I don't know about you guys but putting two stickers on my boat before Springer season just about did me in. Broken Depthfinder, blew up my 150 mariner, broke a rod, fish were late, etc. But out of all that I kept the stickers on and now my boat has risen from the ashes. I'm afraid to put em on my pick-up! :shocked: :cheers:

I ordered the tall top on my boat, Im 5' 10" tall and I can stand under the top without my hat touching, the light mast is almost 6' tall so it can be seen over the top, consequently my light mast is stored under the gunnel unless Im running in the dark in which case no one would see the flag :depressed:

I would like to see more pictures of boats with the stickers. I think people buy the stickers and don't put them on their boats! When I put my stickers on I thought, OK I'll see boats everywhere with IFISH stickers but I have only seen one other boat with stickers, Bill and Jennie's at B-10 last year. When we went by she was holding up her first fall Chinook of the year so Bill could get a picture of it. IFISH is well on it's way to 4000 members, I should be seeing more stickers out there. So how about it, are people really putting the stickers on their boats? :rolleyes:

i've gotten about six stickers and just got around to putting one on my car last week. i was debating not putting any on my drift boat just yet since i'm planning to redo the rails and the paint job. however, since i'm going to go ahead and float it the way it is this year, i might have to sacrifice a couple this year before the new paint job. i still need to sneak out and put one on the wife's truck, er.. i mean, the tow rig.

I was up at B10 last weekend and I expected to see a lot of Ifish stickers on boats, but I didn't see any....I am going to put one on the back of my tahoe, but I need to wash it first

Was out at the mouth of the Cowlitz on Sunday morning...must have been several hundred boats out there....didn't spot 1 ifish sticker.

I did spot one at motion marine on a boat where the rails were just bent beyond believe...looks like something got dropped on them or he caught one HUGE Salmon (5 ton?).

My stickers should show up soon and then they will go on my boat.

Staying on the lookout....
