FEAR NO FISH!

I took the new and improved Fear No Fish! boat out for its maiden run today. My wife and stepson accompianied me. We launched and headed down river. A ski boat sped up and passed me so I asked the crew if we should take em. I hammered the throttle and darn near flipped my chair backwards off the rear end! I cannot believe the power of the new Sportjet. Thank you lord for answering my prayers, thank you also to MOTION MARINE! ZOOM-ZOOM-ZOOM! Chinook hogs, I'm coming for you!

I saw the legendary Fear No Fish boat on display at the Richland Les Schwab yesterday afternoon. Looked like Steve may have been signing autographs.

FEAR NO FISH!

There is a story to go along with the Les
Schwab visit. I had taken the entire crew
down to the river. I loaded everyone
including Grandma into the boat while I
had it tied to the dock. I jumped in and
set the throttle to start and turned the
key. And turned the key. And turned the
key. And turned the key.Hmmmm something
not quite right here. After running the
battery down a quick visit to Les's got
me a new optima battery. A quick phone
call to Motion Marine and we were on our
way. The tiller they use comes from a 200
horse outboard. On the business end of
the tiller it has a slow/shift setting
and a start setting. By having the
throttle handle set at start, it was
actually sitting at half throttle. So I
had flooded the engine. Turning the
throttle to its slowest setting is the
required starting position. A quick color
job with a sharpie and we were on our
way. Who needs to fish when you cam blow
other boats away! I almost have all
of the other modifications complete.
Pictures are the next step.
