bottom fish and crab

A friend and I are planning on going somewhere on the coast for some bottom fishing /crabbing (meathunt) next weekend and we are wondering if we could get some advice on where to go and which charter to go on.

I suggest you 86 the charter idea and post for a ride on a private ifish member owned boat. You'll often do better on a vessel where the skipper is also angling.
