gps chart plotters which one????

I am looking for gps-chartplotter there are quite a few out there, using the people from Ifish and there experience which one do you have and if you had to buy one again would you get the same unit? I want color and most of all easy to use I am an electronic illiterate. I dont mind spending a little money but I dont want to get carried away. I was at fishermans looking at a Standard Horizon CP170c looked pretty easy to use. the has to be somewhere else that sells gps's cheaper and are all the chips for them $150.00? help

standard horizon 170c is a great color unit. the price should be about 999.00.
