I know of some springers that were caught above revaniuo (sp) bridge last weekend on bobber and eggs. Some were dark and a couple were not bad for this time of year up there. Also heard of some fish being taken below Marmot on spinners. Water clarity is hit and miss depending on how hot the weather gets. Hope this helps...............

choppers: i guess that was as non-smart aleck as you get.

artwo: thanks for the info. sounds like the mud has settled down and we're just into our standard summer glacial flows. i'll have to hit my old stomping grounds now. how are the holes up around marmot? did they all fill in with silt from the slide or are they nice and deep?

ampersat,
I personally have not been up there, got my info from some friends that have fishing up there and saw a couple of the fish. You could call Jack Glass at 503-66JACKS for the skinny, I'm sure he'll know.

I went up by the dam yesturday and the water was green but ok. Lots of older fish around and a few bright ones. I did not catch any but had a great time walking the river. I wanted a summer run more but i dont know if they are up there might try CC next time, there sould be some down there. Well good luck if you go.
