I do not think that I am out of the ordinary when I just cannot wait to go fishing for the huge hogs that come up river in the fall. Or when I'm in the jaws of the Alsea waiting for the one that is so chrome bright that it makes your eyes squint. How many fih the Alsea during the fall??? I'll be seeing you there from the middle of Aug. thru the end of Sept. Good luck to you if you show up. Just look for the the smoke at Drift Creek landing and you know that there is a fillet on the barbeee.

Badnews-I live in Newport and fish the Alsea from late aug-oct, put in at drift creek rv park and fish from the power line to the hippe hole, also up and down from Taylors. I'm in a blue wille drift boat, I stay away from the jaws-no place for a drift boat. Hope to see you there.

Starting in September I basically live in my baot. I fish all up and down the coast. I spend most of my time down south. Looks like I should be there now.
