Acme Welding, or Curtis Trailers, are both good reputable companies.

If you have about $20.00 and less than an hour...... do it yourself. I found out a looooong time ago that trailer wiring problems are always solved in short order with a new wiring harness and less time than it takes to track down a short.

It's an easy job. All you need is a screw driver and an hour of free time. Buy a pre made harness and go for it.

David there is a place on 99 in milwaukie called AA-RV. It is just south of busters bbq, a gentleman by the name Rusty runs the shop and does great work. He has re wired a motor home for us and wired vehicles to our boat trailers as well. He also put surge brakes on a boat trailer and put on a new copler. We have used him several times and he does great work. futhermore, he is a one man shop and will charge half of what Curtis trailer will run you. He is closer to you as well, I believe. Great guy and have never had a problem with his work, give him a call.

I would second the recommendation for AA RV,
Rusty has helped me a lot and saved me big $.
I never thought to have him do my trailer brakes :depressed: , I went to schwabs and spent a bunch.

David, I am sure you have seen the paint job on Chris V. boat and Julies. Pretty good huh? Well I hooked Chris up up with Mike a few years ago, and those paint jobs saved a them a few bucks. I would not give a bad reccomendation to anybody. I know Jack Glass spent well over a thousand more to have his sled painted.
