What a great weekend of fishing. My best in recent memory and very strange. Myself and 2 other guys fished above the Oak tree hole below bonnie. Our target were the masses of summer steelhead moving up river. We fished in 12ft of water with spinners and k-10. We caught alot of fish but they wern't steelies, they were fat summer chinook. A 28,25,25 and a 15 pounder in the cooler. We had to many takedowns to count and we lost at least 6. No steelhead to be found anywhere. We saw a few fish being caught at the Oak tree hole but nothing close to the clinic we were putting on.
