SW Washington Trout Fishing

Lake Scanewa was planted 7-1 with 5,000 rainbows @ 2/lb. There will be 7,000 more planted by 7-31 and 5,000 more in the month of August.

Scanewa is located above Riffe Reservoir above the Cowlitz Falls Dam.

Goose Lake was planted 6-19 with 5600 browns @ 1.1/lb. and 2000 cutts @ 1.5/lb.

Goose is located above Carson WA. Contact Forest Service to verify if you can get to Goose from Carson. Otherwise you will have to go the Trout Lake side.

I received my packet today. A LOT of great info in that packet, including the regulations, tips on where to go and what to use, identification information, bumper sticker...a real resource, for sure.

Thank you VERY much for your hard work, Stacie. We need someone like you down here. This will definitely help me make some trips North of the big water.

I also would like to thank you for the SW WA fishing packet.

I took my boy to Kress lake today, and it was non-stop fun catching Bluegill and Perch.

Nothing huge caught, but a heck of a good time.

I haven't seen my son so happy on a fishing trip for a long time! You would have thought he was the worlds best fisherman with all the bragging he did to his buddies!

It's a wonder how big a smile kids get when the fish bite!!!!

Thanks again, and I second the motion that we need someone like you down here!!!
