Mrs Cannonball and I are heading down to the Bonneville area tommorow for the first time. Ive heard the Fishery has bait but I dont Know where It Is. Are there any signs on the dock etc to help me find it? Would somewhere else be Better?
Of course any hints on where the hot spots are etc would be great. And perhaps rewarded!!!!
Well Be fishing from our red NWJ with a silver top out of Beacon Rock (hopefully). Ifish sticker is on the Cooler in back. Stop by and say HI or give a wave if your on a mission.

Cannonball,
No offense to the folks at the Fishery, but I advise buying your bait elsewhere. Buying at the Fishery should be limited to those "oh crap I forgot the bait" deals and you have no other option.
You will pay twice as much for half the bait there, and the quality is not that good.
Just my 2 cents.

I'll haveto agree with Mad Wizzard, but if you still are looking for the Fishery you take the 35 exit off of highway 84 east. Then you just keep turning right until you are facing East again. You then go straight through that stop sign about a quarter of a mile on the left you will see a sign for the Fishery.
Anyplace from the deadline down river to Rooster Rock has fish. Just look for company.
Tight lines,
Ed

Bait? For sturgies? Uhhhhhh.. try shad. Whole ones for the peelers, strips for keepers.

Hey, go catch your bait up at the shad rack. You'll see the island upstream from Beacon rock with everyone anchored shallow.
Bring Dick Nites and a steelhead rod or two.
