I've heard that there is a bayfront fireworks display on the 4th. Does anybody know if it's usually a good one? Also, where is a good place to watch? I was thinking the baseball field across from the east mooring basin.. Joe

The fireworks that they have are fair for a small town. Last year they were the best I've seen, and I have watched them - well lets just say for several years. What I do is hit the late Sturgeon tide (bring or cook dinner) anchor the boat up wind if possible kick back and enjoy. They launch the fireworks just off the Maritime Museum from a barge. So if you go on the water front between England Marine and the Museum you would have a great spot................Bobber Down
