Can somebody please tell me how the camping is at fishermans bend on the north santiam? I am going to go camping next weekend but dont know where to go yet. Thanks

It's a nice campground. Has showers and flush toilets. Took my girls there last year. I didn't want to get too far from home as this would be their first camp out. They loved it. We got our spot Friday morning and the place was full by Saturday, mid-day. Plenty of room for truck and drift boat. ODFW even runs National Geographic films in the evening. Definitely not a campground to "get away from it all", but very convenient if you plan to fish, or raft, the North Santiam. They also have a couple cabins available to rent, $35 per night I believe.
