A friend of mine needs.
Chris Craft 1958 KFL water drain plugs.
Is there anyone out there who might know where he could get some.

I'd try a really well stocked hardware store. Look in the aisle that has all the screws, nuts, and bolts.
Not sure if they'll fit a Chris Craft, but they fit my Fish Rite!!

I gutted my rotten, no good, store-bought plugs, kept the rubber, and replaced the hardware with a combination of stainless carriage bolts, washers, and wing-nuts. That was over ten years ago, and they still work great.
I know this post was for help for a specific boat, but there are only a few sizes of drain-holes.

Look4elk - the standard size is 1/2" pipe thread or 1/2"NPT. If you wanted to replace the whole deal, they make a round brass plate/drain plug assembly, find it at Fisherman's Marine. Look for Garboard drain.
It has 3 screws to attach. This plug is accessed from outside the boat.
