View Full Version : Where to fish this weekend???

The ocean is closed (arrrrr!), salmon on the river is closed, the river is really dirty (went for steelhead today/zip), and there are no clam tides. Sturgeon fishing might be ok but other than that, I'm thinking this might be a good weekend for some lake exploration. Any better ideas? Anyone heard about Tillamook bay lately?

Surely you jest. Dude one of the largest tidal series of the year starts this weekend. Sunday I have at -1.8 on ocean beaches. Sturgeon fishing should rule out of Hammond or Warrenton.

Thanks for the Plug! I usually speak to a few guides before I begin typing that report so it's pretty accurate most of the time.

Off of astoria it is closed.
With 4ft swells at 16 secs and 10kt winds, I know where I'm going!.... Newport. Rock Pile and maybe also the chicken ranch.
