Taking my 10 year old daughter to Riffe Lake this Friday to fish for landlocked salmon. Anyone have any tips on how to catch them? We will be fishing out of a boat.

It has been a couple years since I have fished there, but willow blade flashers(small, ultra lite) and a wedding ring w/shopeg corn worked very well. You will have to try different size lead and pulls to go out to find the fish. Seems like one or two ounce with about fifty pulls worked for us. As always each day is different. Good luck :cheers:

why don't you just go to Yale or Merwin,easy limits and closer too
Thanks, I'll pick up some wedding rings. I would fish closer but I'm meeting my Dad up there.

Tip your wedding rings with canned corn bathed overnight in tuna oil. Makes a HUGE difference. Good luck!
