I'm wondering what seems to be the best colors and sizes? Thanks.

I fished Oregon City last weekend and nailed many of them on the smallest dick nite, half chrome and half gold. I ran it behind a diver and had a ball.

hope it helps..

Jigman,

Have you ever seen the shad darts that most bank fisherman use? My personal favorite is an approx. 1/8 oz. jig head with a no. 6 or so gold hook. The heads are poured in somewhat of a wedge shape that allows the dart to swim when retrieving. I don't know who makes the shad darts, but they're available at most of the convenience stores along Hwy 14. Average cost is about $.65 a piece. My favorite color is a chartreuse body with flourescent hot pink on the very head of the dart. If these were made with a better quality hook, and more durable paint, while still being reasonably priced, I think you might be able to grab a share of the market.

4-salt, that's the reason I asked. I have a mold coming for the shad jigs and am trying to get ideas on the colors. I'll be selling them for .50 cents a piece painted. They will have the gold hooks and be powder coated for a hard finish. Thanks for the ideas.

Dick Nite, small, gold and chartruse. I've gotten WAY better results with this lately than everything else combined.
