For a change of pace from the Clackamas, an Ifish friend and I need some help.

We're looking for some different water to drift, and avoid playing bumper boats with the sleds.
The Sandy is an option, but we were thinking south of here. The coast streams seem a little skinny now too.

So how's the fishing been on the Santiams ? North or South, where would you go ? Any drifts to cross off the list due to low flows ? We're experienced drifters, but we're not looking for too much adventure either.

I imagine we could put in and row up to Waterzoo falls and bobber fish, but we wanna plug and drift fish too.

And please include shuttles if you could.

Try the Upper Rogue from Lost creek Dam to Tou Velle Park. The river is packed with sringers and quite a few steelhead.

Thanks Keta, but that's a little far for us. Maybe if we had more time to plan, we could have gone there.

Another time for sure.

Good fishing,

Chris
