Hi all,
I'm taking the boy camping and fishingthis weekend. In the Hebo area most likely.
I would love it if the boy could get his first springer or steelhead. Can anyone tell me some good fishing from the bank spots on the Nestucca, Kilchis, lil Nes or wilson. what has the fishing been like down there as of late ? Any river producing more?
I was thinking about trying the Nestucca to start down there at 3 rivers.
I have jigs, corkies, spinners and flatfish.

Any advise would be appreciated.

Thank everyone

FishB,
the nasty is fishing well as is 3 rivers. If you can slip down to 3 rivers and get a hole to yourselves, sight fish for either chinooks or summers. Both in there in pretty good numbers. If thats a zoo, head to the confluence and try there or at the run above and across(Jacksons,I believe). There are summers in the big river now up to 1st bridge.Cover water because there aint a bunch in every run.We have fished there since mid may and it has been very encouraging.Spinners, jigs, and shrimp for the steelies.Eggs and plugs for the 'nooks.
See you on the Rivers.
Mark.

Hey there,
My pal went fishin' on 3 rivers this am and limited out by 7 am. Nice chromers, fresh off last night's high tide. Also, I understanding there are fish coming thru up at Cloverdale. Some fish are being caught at the PC boat ramp, but that is no place for kids. Just give it a shot at either spot, get there early. The first one he caught this am was before 6 am. Good luck.
